But I thrive on stress!

I used to be this person: “But I thrive on stress! I am a high performer under stress.”

When you begin to understand what the stress response was actually designed to do in your body, you can also begin to understand how it is creating the results you have in your life.

Chronic, unchecked, high stress - whether it is from your job, or a relationship, or money - can create a host of psychosomatic symptoms that you’re left to deal with:

  • lack of appetite or excessive appetite

  • high blood pressure

  • frequent trips to the bathroom

  • anxiety and depression

  • chronic fatigue syndrome

  • increased belly fat gain or stubborn belly fat that won’t move

No matter how strong you believe your stress management skills to be, your body might not agree that stress makes you a high performer.
